The Community Foundation of East Central Illinois is seeking nominations for its 2018 Hearts of Gold Awards.
Hearts of Gold awards are intended to recognize the extraordinary unsung heroes with hearts of gold who help to make life in central Illinois better for everyone. They are the ones who consistently step up to help others whenever they are needed.
Who in your world will you nominate for a Hearts of Gold award? People to consider nominating for this special award are neighbors, volunteers, business people, teachers, students, mentors — anyone who has contributed significantly to enhancing the quality of life of others in east central Illinois, including those in Champaign, Coles, Douglas, Edgar, Ford, Iroquois, Moultrie, Piatt, and Vermilion counties.
Online nominations must be completed before midnight, Wednesday, March 28. No late nominations will be considered by the committee. Recipients will be honored at the Community Foundation’s Hearts of Gold Gala Celebration of Philanthropy on May 17, 2018 at the Champaign Country Club.
