We are seeking an experienced fund developer who has been successful with major gifts, planned giving and leaving a legacy.
The Development Director has the opportunity to work with staff, the Board of Trustees and philanthropic individuals and corporations to make a real difference. The Development Director should be persuasive and eager to develop solid long-term relationships with current and prospective donors.
The position is intended to be full-time but there is flexibility. Attendance at before and after hours meetings and events is expected. The right individual should know our area, have the ability to travel throughout east central Illinois and the desire to continue the great work of our organization.
You have to be a good communicator – both orally and in writing – and be thoroughly familiar with social media as a development tool.
